We are Aera and Stephen Kuri, a couple who has spent decades weaving together a life rich with music, travel, and wine.
Based in California’s Silicon Valley, we balance our lives between professional careers and a deep passion for discovering beauty around the world.
Aera, originally from South Korea, is a classical pianist and educator, holding degrees from Ewha Womans University and San Jose State University.
Stephen, born and raised in California, graduated from USC Law School and spent years working on Wall Street as a securities trader before returning to his lifelong love: wine.
An avid collector and connoisseur, Stephen has explored wines across the world and built a private collection of over 600 bottles — yet his heart always returns to the timeless beauty of Napa Valley.
Together, we have traveled extensively, visiting over 30 countries — and frequently returning to the places we truly love.
Rather than chasing checklists, we believe in revisiting meaningful destinations, deepening our connection with the places and people we cherish.
Stephen, especially, has journeyed to Germany and Denmark dozens of times, finding something new to appreciate with every visit.
Each year, we dedicate time to slow travel: a month in Alaska’s wilderness, road trips across the U.S., and long, leisurely journeys through Europe.
Whether staying in a cozy cabin in Yosemite, kayaking down the Willamette River, Oregon, or tasting Champagne under the French skies, our travels are always accompanied by music, laughter, and of course — a good glass of wine.
